The Virginia Nurses Association and Foundation’s annual Spring Conference brings together nursing leaders, frontline clinicians, and educators from across Virginia to explore how nurses are shaping the future of healthcare and redefining the public image of nursing. You will receive the meeting information upon registration. learn more or register here!Statement from the Virginia Nurses Association on the Exclusion of Nursing from Professional Degree Classification Under Proposed Federal Loan RuleThe Virginia Nurses Association stands with the American Nurses Association and nursing organizations nationwide in opposition to the federal student loan policy recommendations being considered by the Department of Education, which will exclude graduate-level nursing programs from the definition of “professional degree” and will severely restrict the federal loan support available to nurses pursuing advanced education.
