 Being an approved provider through the VNA has allowed us to strategically address nursing continuing professional development priorities independently and meet the continuing education needs of our nurses seamlessly. We are able to do this through the quality support and endless resources provided by the VNA. The close relationship our Primary Nurse Planner has with the Director of Professional Development at the VNA is invaluable! Kathy Buckley, Nursing Professional Development Specialist, Bon Secours Mercy Health System, Inc.I have been working with the Virginia Nurses Association for at least 8 years now to obtain between 13 and 16 nursing contact hours each year for the national UNOS Transplant Management Forum. Each year, staff is so friendly, helpful, easy to work with and very responsive when I need assistance. The process for a meeting this large can be overwhelming but the VNA staff always makes the application process as easy as possible. Our attendees always rate obtaining nursing contact hours as one of the reasons they attend each year.
