Dr. Nina Beaman, Ed.D., CNE, RN-BC (PMH), RNC-AWHC, CMA (AAMA) Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences, Mary Baldwin University Professor, Graduate Programs Dr. Nina Beaman is a Professor in the Graduate Nursing Programs at Murphy Deming School of Health Sciences of Mary Baldwin College. She has taught nurses and allied health professionals for over 30 years. Having worked in diverse settings, including psych/mental health, home health, case management, forensics, public health, women's health, and forensic nursing, she has a varied background in nursing culture. In addition to a doctorate, she holds an MSN in nursing administration and leadership and an MS in health psychology. Dr. Beaman has been an active member of the VNA since 1992, serving on the Board, as well as the Interim CEO, and on numerous committees. She is a frequent speaker at conferences and a published author. _________________________________________________________________________________ This educational activity is being jointly provided by HCA Virginia and the Central VA Chapter of the Virginia Nurses Association.
HCA Virginia is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by Virginia Nurses Association, an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
To receive the contact hour for this event, the participant will: 1. Attend a minimum of 50 minutes of the activity 2. Complete Program Evaluation
